Dorothy Dandridge Belafonte, Dandridge, Adams w/ Brock Peters Brock Peters encounter with Otto on the set of 'Carmen Jones' almost turned violent. According to Peters, "He chewed me out in front of a lot of people, crew and cast and extras." Brock lost his temper and he went for Otto. Pearl Bailey and somebody else had to grab Peters. "Steamy" One of my favorite scenes! Joe Adams, Dorothy and Harry Joe Adams was yelled at through a megaphone by Otto on the set. " Mr. Adams. What exactly is it you call yourself doing? I've got a milkman that's a better actor than you." Adams controlled his rage and had this to say later about Preminger: " He was just as great to rave about you when you got it right." Ha
